Stacking car rental coupons

Tuesday, September 19, 2017

Stacking car rental coupons is a great way to save even more on your rental. Instead of getting a discount for using a coupon, you can get two discounts by using two coupons simultaneously. We refer to the first coupon as the primary coupon and the one being stacked on top as the add-on coupon.

Which coupons are stack-able?

You can stack two coupons if they meet the following requirements:
  1. The coupons are for a rental car company that supports stacking - Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz or National.
  2. One of the coupons has a rate code only (also known as AWD, BCD, CDP, Contract ID, etc), while the other has a coupon code only. When you stack these coupons, you get a rate code and a coupon code.

How Zalyn helps you stack coupons?

When you search for a rental car deal on Zalyn, we look for available vehicles and coupons that are relevant to your rental needs. Hit the APPLY button to use the coupon & see discounted rates on a booking site.
For this test, we applied the last coupon (AAA members: Save upto 20% on your rental) and noticed that the price for a Midsize SUV fell from $221 (retail price) to $106 using the coupon. While you're away looking at the booking site, we look for coupons that can be stacked to help you save even more. If we find one, you'll see a link see stackable matches when you return to your Zalyn search results.

When you click on that link, you'll see all the matching stackable coupons found. Simply click stack to combine the two coupons & check discounted rate. In this case, the first stack coupon worked for us and brought down the rental amount to just $91.

The primary coupon was a pretty good deal on its own and brought down the price for a Midsize SUV from $221 to $106, but stacking another coupon dropped it even further to just $91. Don't miss out on these amazing discounts!
